Clypeola jonthlaspi L. subsp. jonthlaspi

Taxonomy: Fam. Brassicaceae// Genus:  Clypeola// Species: Clypeola jonthlaspi  L.// Subspecies: Clypeola jonthlaspi L. subsp. jonthlaspi.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1995).

Lifeform: Annual; therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from South Central Europe, Mediterranean to Pakistan and Arabian Peninsula according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Grasslands, pastures, bushlands, rocky terrains, roadsides, railways.

Flowering period: Spring: MAR, APR.
