Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1998).
Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
Distribution: Native to South and East Europe, West and Central Asia according to the Plants of the World Online portal.
Habitat: Open habitats – dry grassland, rocks and rocky terrains with shallow soil. Found in the southern slopes of the mountain. Other Sedum species growing in the same habitat are Sedum caespitosum (Cav.) DC., Sedum hispanicum L. and Sedum urvillei DC.
Flowering period: Spring (APR).
