Comedian Pat Henning did a juggling comedy act in the final years of vaudeville. He became a prolific emcee in the major presentation houses of the 1930s and 40s. He turned into character actor in the 1950s, playing a part in On the Waterfront, and did comedy on The Ed Sullivan Show. In later years he was kept alive by his old friend Jackie Gleason.
