Wendy's announces new Frosty flavor
Wendy's is expected to release an all-new frosty flavor in time for summer.
COLUMBUS, OH (WSYX) — Wendy's is expected to release an all-new frosty flavor in time for summer.
The fast-food giant announced the "Orange Dreamsicle" Frosty on Wednesday, according to USA Today.
It will be a blend of the Vanilla Frosty mixed with orange syrup.
In January, the company brought back the Vanilla Frosty in addition to the classic chocolate flavor.
Wendy's has released other Frosty flavors before including Strawberry, Pumpkin, and Peppermint.
The familiar dessert is one of the original five menu items for Wendy's.
The Frosty was created in 1969 by Fred Kappus, CEO of Kappus Company, and Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas, according to the Wendy's website.
The new Orange Dreamsicle will be available Mar. 19.
