Achillea millefolium is a British native, often found growing in hedgerows, meadows and lawns. It has evergreen ferny leaves and produces flat heads of white or pale pink flowers on tall slender stems. It grows well in a wide variety of situations. It may be grown from seed, or by division and will often self sow. The plant may become invasive in small flower beds, but looks attractive in informal settings and wild flower meadows.
