Traditional and Medicinal Uses

In U.A.E, young twigs and fruits are edible added to milk or rice, and the flowers give a rich protein powder. The plant is used for hair scenting and dying, as firewood which gives smokeless fires and is a good fodder for livestock. It has been used as/for:

Gum sores

Stomach problems

Ophthalmic problems
