Abstract
Northwest region, located in the eastern part of the extremely arid area of Asia, mainly includes Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, western Inner Mongolia, northern Tibetan Plateau, and western Loess Plateau. In this vast region, only 66 families of Quaternary pollen and spores were found. We collected the photomicrographs of these pollen and spore taxa, and compiled them into 63 plates.
