The British Centaur was a cruiser tank developed from a re-engined Cromwell in an attempt to field more armor for the Invasion of Normandy. The Centaur Mk.IV used the 95mm tank howitzer to provide fire support missions for the Royal Marines in Normandy. The Centaur Dozer REME units to provide combat engineering support to armored units.
