An escaped Fort Madison, Iowa prison inmate returned to Iowa with new charges after his arrest last week in Iowa.

Prison officials said that he escaped Sept. 17. He was captured in Bloomfield, Mo., a small town about 45 miles southwest of Cape Girardeau.

Adcock was admitted to John Bennett Correctional Center at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison on January 24, 2011.
