Daeshun

Dewanye Turner, son of Valarie Nicole Turner and Kujuan Richard, was born on March 5, 2003, in Memphis, Tennessee, where he accepted Christ at an early age. He grew up playing football and loved the art of music and laughter.

He attended Whitehaven High School, where he was well-known and loved by all. Daeshun “Dae Dae” Turner was the life of the party, and his charismatic ways always found a way to bring light into any darkness.

Daeshun was a loyal, playful, and hardworking young man with full potential. He enjoyed bringing smiles and laughs to his family and friends. As a result of his loving and caring personality, he was loved by many. His remarkable ways will forever remain in the lives of all that he impacted. His life was full of laughter and will forever be cherished by those who loved him dearly.

He leaves behind his mother, Valarie Turner, and father, Kevin Bateman Sr., his grandparents, Gloria Dukes (Larry) and Timothy Turner, seven sisters; Chrishuna Turner-German (Malik), Briauna Turner, Tarshaneka Johnson, Kayla Clinton, Tayanna Bland, Keyunna Phillips and LaNethia Austin, two brothers; Devin Turner and Kevin Bateman Jr., A host of nieces and nephews; I’yaunaTurner, Braylee Springfield, Kaylee Clinton, Malik German II, etc. He also leaves behind one aunt, Marquita Turner, his Godmother, Jennifer Anderson (Marco), girlfriend of two years; Cartayzia Humphrey, and a host of cousins and relatives.

Daeshun was preceded in death by his uncle, Patrick Dewayne Tuner (Stacey).
