This phone works, light, easy to use, hard to break, small, will fit into any pocket. It does almost feel like a kids toy, but, as it is all of the things listed above, you are probably not planning to use this for your glamorous assignments. There are going to be use cases when you just need something robust, tough and that will do the job. The price point helps too, as it is definitely on the inexpensive side of things.

In many ways, without showing our age too much this phone is probably the equivalent of when your parents sent you out with a 5 or 50 pence (select age profile accordingly) to make that one phone call in dire straits. Some of our testers didn’t like the casing that the phone was housed in, but perhaps that was almost intentional with the type of phone they were looking to build here? Maybe this will catch on, or rather it could be the back up to the back up smart phone? We shall see.
