Temperature: 22 - 28°C

Diet: Frozen and live foods, flakes, sinking pellets and granules 

Habitat: A hardy species that will fit in with a wide range of tank setups, although a soft sandy substrate is a must. They like plenty of oxygen and for the best activity lots of flow running along the length of the tank works well.

Providing small overhangs and caves will give them safe refuge and encourage them to come out more. For the best colours, have a dark substrate, use full spectrum LED's and have the water a little tanned.
