Its a native wild fruit. Its fruit is yellowish in color when ripe and has a slimy pulp. They are used for fruit jam and beverage. Its wood is use as timber and carpentry works, and as other construction material. Its very hardy when used in wet condition. Its plank is used as roofing material of traditional house.
