Fruit composed of four nutlets (each a dry, indehiscent, single-seeded fruit segment), these enclosed by a persistent pubescent sepal tube until individual nutlets fall to the ground.

Nutlet narrowly oblong to oblanceolate in outline, apex rounded to truncate, base long-tapered, cross-section triangular to sector-shaped (rounded on dorsal side, ventrally ridged), 1.5–2.2 mm long x 0.9–1.1 mm wide. Surface dull (looking somewhat enameled under maghification), finely reticulated to honeycombed, various shades of brown, with a honeycombed outer layer forming white splotches where thick. Base of nutlet covered with a thick, yellowish, waxy substance (i.e., elaiosome).

Nutlet attachment scar linear.
