A much sought-after variety of Kalanchoe humilis, the 'Surprising Desert' has large green paddle-shaped leaves with stunning maroon stripes.
Kalanchoe are popular succulents which are native to arid areas.
Prefers bright light. The plant is drought tolerant and over-watering can cause rot. During summer water thoroughly when the soil has dried out and repeat. Feed regularly in spring and summer.
