Finding light for None in your home
Gasteria gracilis may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Gasteria gracilis in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Gasteria gracilis
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Gasteria gracilis after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What should I do with my leaning tower of ox tongue? Do I just need to add supports, repot or cut off pieces to propogate? #oxtongue #gasteria #succulent #plantsmakepeoplehappy

What do I spy with my little eye? Orlando has a new leaf peeking out! And on the other side, two babies! I knew he had one, but this is the first time I noticed the smaller one. 👍 Just in time for #whatthesuccwednesday 😂

Help with ID? Do I trust the Lowes plant label or Greg….? Greg says it’s an airplane plant, and the tag said it was a calypso orchid. Currently it’s in orchid bark in a terracotta pot, looking for any help with properly identifying it, or advice/tips for whatever this thing is… #FirstOrchid maybe? #NewPlants #OrchidLovers #AirplanePlant #SucculentSquad

What type of succulent is this? I found this one hanging on to her mother's pot by a root. I can't tell if it's a Zebra haworthia or some kind of gasteria, and I can't remember what the mother looked like. Does anyone know what this is? #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #newgrowth #succulentlove

White veins/cracks on ox tongue? Does anyone know what these lines are? Is it just stress? Or is is something more serious? Thanks in advance! (Background below) I posted about this plant before thinking it was an orchid (the name of the pot it was in was called calypso, not that it was a calypso orchid oops) but I now believe it’s a kind of ox tongue (open to more knowledge on that tho) Anyway, it’s in orchid bark as I was silly and repotted it right after purchase, while thinking it was an orchid. So now it’s had a couple weeks to settle in, and I may repot it to succulent mix. #SucculentSquad #OxTongue #HappyPlants (the last pic before the plant is just an updated overall pic, no new growth or significant changes since i got it)

Before & After : Oct 2022 - Jan 2024 Hey there, #GregGang! I wanted to hop on and show y’all my succulents’ growth! 🪴⚡️🙌🏽 First baby is a #Gasteria NoID. I got this baby from an overseas plant friend and it’s grown so much! Its babies have also gotten bigger 🥹 Second baby is a #GasteriaLittleWarty! I got this little dude at Lowe’s. I actually had to go back twice to make up my mind on him lol.. I told myself if he was still there, then he is meant to be mine! 😊 look at how much he’s grown! You can’t see the back of him but he has two more babies, making it a total of 5 pups he’s working on!! Third baby is a little #Gasteria too! I actually neglected him and left him to dry out when I was going through a rough patch. After I got ahold of myself, I was able to properly care for him and make him thrive! 💖 Last but not least is a #Haworthia! This is actually my boyfriend’s but I care for him 🤣 he’s grown so freaking much and has 4 pups!! Ain’t that amazing? 😁 Hope my #succulents make y’all smile today! 🌿🤍 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Houseplants #Indoorplants #Plants #PlantGang #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #GregMakesPeopleHappy #GregGang #Greggers #CentralTexasGang #kscapedream

Is this strictly an indoor plant? Mine is outside with limited morning sun and I spritz it most every day. Thanks! #Gasteria

How should I tend to my Succulents damage? When I arrived home and began to check my new succulent more carefully, I noticed what looked like cuts, almost like someone just put clippers right to it. She looks very healthy, but the damage is still making me worry. A few of the limbs that have been cut seemed to have closed up nicely and should be fine. There's this one huge gash that I am worried about. What should I do? - #succulentlove #helpneeded #succulentsquad

I was at my local store just looking for some lightbulbs when curiosity got the best of me and I HAD to go check out their plant section. Looking around and found this girl! What a beauty! Not even home yet but I can't even put down my excitement about her. Glad to add her to the family. Any name suggestions, I might need help with this one! Edit; I've decided I am going to do a pull. All names suggested shall be put into a hat and I will pull one on Wednesday! Whichever is pulled will be the name. Thank you all for the suggestions. - #happyplants #newplant #succulentsquad #lovesuccs #namemyplants
