Reflexa var. Bakeri
About Reflexa var. Bakeri
Did you know the genus name Dracaena comes from the Greek for ‘female dragon’? Some plants in this genus have thick, red resin which was reminiscent of dragon blood! 🐲 Dracaenas are native to Africa, Asia, and northern Australia, and are known for being super easy to care for. Some species can go months without water, and many can grow well in low sunlight.

Overwatered? Too much sun? Hi all, since downloading this app my plants have been THRIVING… with the exception of this dracaena. From what I can tell it’s looking overwatered and/or sunburnt. I’m thinking about propagating the top because it still looks healthy but I am in need of a diagnosis and plan of action to save the bottom! I’m not ready to give up on this one, so any advice is much appreciated! #CornPlant #Dracaena

Trunk was hollow, but 1 branch seemed healthy. Cut it off and put in water. Will it grow roots? Tips on getting it to root? #Dracaena

I feel like my dracena is not getting enough water. It was last watered on 4/29. But the soil is VERY dry and it is starting to drop leaves. #Dracaena

Brown Splitches and Drying Up Tops #Dracaena I recently received this plant from my workplace and I don't know anything about plant care. I don't know what these splotches are and what's happening up at the top. It looks almost like it's drying out, but the leaves are fine. It's slowly spreading. Two of the stalks already turned yellow so I went ahead and disposed of those to be safe. It was getting unfiltered water and way too much sun. I have since switched to filtered water and reduced the sunshine. However, it is still continuing. I'm at a loss at this point. I'd like this plant to survive!

Is this a fungal spot on the top leaf? #Dracaena I just noticed this one leaf while repotting. Roots seemed fine. And since I’m here, can anyone confirm my suspicion of sun scorch on the bottom leaves in the 3rd pic? (I’ve had a bug trap with the UV light plugged in nearby and just realized that’s probably the culprit. 🤦🏼♀️) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #SongOfIndia #helpneeded Thanks greggers 💚 #DoesThisLookInfectedToYou
