Description
CHELONE GLABRA
This Native perennial is a larval host for the Baltimore Checkerspot. Many Butterflies, Bees and Hummingbirds depend on this plant as well. The flowers resemble a turtles head, hence the name. They also make a good cut flower. Chelone has medicinal uses too and does great in wet conditions.
