The first trailer for Paul Rudd and Selena Gomez’s upcoming Netflix movie The Fundamentals of Caring was released Monday.

The road trip drama follows Ben (Rudd) as he becomes a caregiver and begins working with his first client, a foul-mouthed 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy named Trevor (Craig Roberts). Tired of his strict, routine lifestyle, Trevor tells Ben about his dream of visiting all of the strange roadside attractions he’s learned about, such as the world’s biggest bovine and the world’s deepest pit. So the pair sets off, and along the way they also pick up a street-wise hitchhiker named Dot (Gomez). Amid their roadside attraction destinations, Trevor asks the group to make a stop to visit his father, who left him when he was a little boy.

The Fundamentals of Caring made a splash at Sundance earlier this year, getting bought up by Netflix for an estimated $7 million before the festival even began. The movie is adapted from Jonathan Evison’s 2012 novel of the same name, and is directed by former Late Show head writer Rob Burnett.

The Fundamentals of Caring will premiere on June 24 on Netflix. Check out what else is coming to Netflix in June here.
