Coat

Short hair all over the body with a straight, horse hair texture, dense, close and uniformly smooth. There may be a few scattered coarse hairs on the body, on the muzzle and also on the legs.

Markings

Solid fawn in all of its graduations, from intense red fawn to the faded washed-out fawn, and black and tan. Tan markings in black and tan dogs should be on the muzzle, eyebrows, chest, legs, from the carpus to the feet and the tarsal to the feet as well as on the perineum.

It is resistant, being able to hunt in all types of terrain, working passionately either alone or as part of a pack. It has a deep and harmonious sound to its bark. Training should be consistent and sensitive. It requires early socialisation.
