Propagation
If planted in the substrate this plant is propagated by cuttings. The cuttings can be taken from anywhere on the plant but the stems are very delicate so great care must be taken when handling them. Due to the fragile nature of the stems it is best to re-plant them in small bunches so that they can support each other and keep the water flow in the tank at a low level.

Short Description
This is a very easy plant to grow with no special requirements and lighting levels can be supplied with standard aquarium lighting units. It is often floated in the aquariums and the roots will draw nutrients from the water. This makes it a great plant for fry tanks as it provides lots of cover.
