Location:  Sevok, WB, India
Date: 18 May 2018
Altitude: 700 ft.
Habit : Cultivated from Wild

A cultivated specimen of Davallia probably griffithiana (from the white scales etc.), not occurring in Darjeeling or at Sevoke.  Not part of the natural Flora there, but present in NE India, common in Meghalaya.

Sorry ! Correct location!
Location:  Kalimpong, WB, India
Date: 15 May 2018
Altitude: 4100 ft.
Habit : Wild.

Absolutely NOT wild!  Due to the nurseries at Kalimpong, I have seen a couple of escaped Selaiginellas on the roadside outside one of the Pradhan’s nurseries, but not this. It is impossible to be natural and wild at Kalimpong. It is only cultivated there. The wild one there is D. bullata with reddish-brown scales, not white.
Kindly give exact deatils of locality – how many km. along  which road.

I shot this at Ganesh Mani Pradhan’s residence.

Glad that’s sorted out – as previously it had said “wild”, though it is not a part of the natural flora there.
