Animal photography || Freshwater snail shell (Pomacea maculata)

I just found a pile of freshwater snail shells or the scientific name "Pomacea maculata" lying on dry ground and my estimate is that all these snails died around 5-8 days ago, my estimate can be proven by the fact that some of the freshwater snails are still there meat inside.

I don't know the main cause of death of all the freshwater snails, whether they died because they moved, because they were running parallel to each other, or whether someone deliberately dumped all the freshwater snails in that dry place, but I also saw there something like a stream of rain forming a path. small, and I also want to assume that freshwater snails follow the path and halfway through the rainwater stops and they get stuck there until they die, that assumption also makes sense if you look at this pattern, but if I assume that all these freshwater snails died because someone threw them there and that makes sense because so far freshwater snails are considered pests that can damage rice plants.

Previously, freshwater snails could only be found in swamps or dams, but now freshwater snails have spread to various agricultural areas and one of the most common places to find them is rice fields, and because of their large numbers, freshwater snails are seen as As a pest that can damage rice plants, so far farmers have started killing it and there are some who use the fresh meat of freshwater snails as animal feed, such as for chickens, ducks and catfish.
