Русский: Многим из нас известна древняя крылатая фраза «через тернии к звёздам» (на латинском: Per aspera ad astra). Тернии — это колючки — твёрдые одревесневшие заострённые образования у растений. Колючки этого кактуса не только мощные, густые и крепкие, они и очень красивы. Добиться такой околюченности можно только при содержании кактуса при очень хорошем солнечном освещении.
Сквозь такие густые колючки сложно «пробиться» цветку. Но что не сделаешь ради продолжения рода… Цветок тянется к Солнцу и раскрылся во всём своём великолепии. А колючки после дождя заиграли новыми красками! Они от солнечных лучей стали огненными!!! На снимке кактус Eriosyce bulbocalyx (синоним: Pyrrhocactus bulbocalyx), в естественных условиях произрастающий в гористой местности Аргентины. Растение выращено автором из семян в условиях Западной Сибири, возраст кактуса — 14 лет.English: Eriosyce bulbocalyx |
