English: PEARL HARBOR (April 10, 2013) A miniature model of Boeing B-17E Flying Fortress, commonly referred to as the Swamp Ghost, displays an imitation of the plane's crash site as parts of the original plane arrive to Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Shot down by Japanese forces during World War II in 1942, the plane was recovered and transported from Papua New Guinea and is scheduled to be part of an exhibit at the museum.
