Schismatoglottis Prietoi **RARE**

$15

A little aroid that is ideal for aquarium use is Schismatoglottis prietoi. This Schismatoglottis is a relatively new species to both scientists and aquarium enthusiasts. It was initially discovered on Cebu Island and is native to the Philippines. In 2015, it was given a scientific name in honor of Esquerion Prieto, the person who made the discovery. Like Cryptocoryne species, it grows mostly submerged in nature and uses its runners to form vast stands in sandy to gravelly riverbeds. In addition to having smaller, glossy, elliptic leaves that are a paler green than Anubias 'Petite''s, this plant grows more quickly.
