Anderson signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent after finishing his Cal career with 101 receptions for 1,260 yards receiving and seven touchdown grabs over 37 games and 25 starts during the last four seasons of his five campaigns with the program from 2012-15 after redshirting as a true freshman in 2011. He was both an honorable mention All-Pac-12 selection of the league's coaches and Cal’s Ken Cotton Award winner as the team’s Most Courageous Player during his final two campaigns as a 2014 junior and 2015 senior. Anderson had career highs of 46 receptions, 661 yards receiving and five touchdown catches as a junior despite missing the first two games due to injury and followed that up with 41 receptions for 474 yards receiving with two touchdown catches as a senior.

• Had the two biggest games of his career at Oregon State with a career-high nine receptions and 117 yards receiving and vs. Colorado with seven receptions, a career-high 136 yards receiving and a 75-yard touchdown catch from Jared Goff that was the longest reception of his career, leading Cal in receptions and receiving yards in both contests
• Also co-led Cal with five catches for 52 yards and one touchdown against Stanford, while his other receiving totals came at Washington State (5-95), vs. USC (5-70, TD), vs. UCLA (4-65), vs. Washington (4-21), vs. Oregon (3-32, TD), at Arizona (2-43, TD) and vs. BYU (2-30) as he picked up at least two catches in each of the 10 games he played in
• Recorded the first touchdown catch of his career in the first game of the season he played in during the third contest of the year at Arizona

Sophomore (2013)
• Recorded 14 receptions and 125 yards receiving over 10 games and five starts
• Had a season-high three catches for 22 yards to put up the first numbers other than participation in his career against Portland State, while his 30 receiving yards on two catches against Washington State were a season high, with one of his catches against Washington State a season-long 20-yarder
• Registered at least one catch in eight consecutive games he played in beginning with Portland State and ending at Colorado, also posted receiving totals against USC (2-28), at Colorado (2-17), vs. Arizona (2-13), at Oregon (1-8), vs. Oregon State (1-4) and at Washington (1-3)
• Had one reception for 12 yards in the spring game
Freshman (2012)
• Saw the first action of his collegiate career, participating in four games off the bench against Southern Utah, at USC, vs. Arizona State and at Oregon State
• On the receiving end of a 75-yard touchdown pass from Austin Hinder on the final play of the spring game but his Blue team lost 21-20 to the Gold squad when it failed to convert on an ensuing two-point conversion attempt
• Led all players with 96 yards receiving on two catches in the spring game with a 21-yard reception in addition to the 75-yard scoring strike

• Posted three games with double-digit receptions as a senior, including a career-high 14 catches for 189 yards and a score in a loss to Bellarmine Prep
• Posted a career-high 205 receiving yards on eight catches, including a 95-yarder for a touchdown, in the section title game win over Homestead during his senior season
