DTK-Ahnentafel Botzensteiners Matilda

“Butterflies, butterflies!” is her battle cry and “Mosquitoes, mosquitoes!” she seems to call out and is already on her way to hunt the next flying object. In the warmer months of the year, she is busy, hopping across the meadow, and when the grass is high again, you think you can see a black fish jumping above the green waves.

A black and tan miniature dachshund lady, sporty and elegant with the very best coat, clean and dark red markings, best bone strength and substance, supple and full of energy, that is Botzensteiners Matilda.

Despite the best of beginnings, her show career was abruptly interrupted by the appearance of SarsCov19 and the associated restrictions and cancellation of all dog shows. Fortunately, little Mamsell had a sense of timing, i.e. she fulfilled the conditions for breeding approval early on, and became hot on time when she reached the minimum age for breeding approval.

So we let go of the National Junior Champion title and the previous contentions and introduced her to the serious side of life in the form of Botzensteiners Enzo. It’s now 2022 and there’s still no end to the pandemic in sight. Matilda will therefore hang up her show career for good.
