Scuba Diver to Open Water Upgrade

As a Scuba Diver you are allowed to dive to a maximum depth of 40ft/12m under the supervision of a professional diver. In just one day you can upgrade your limited certification to full Open Water Diver certification allowing you to dive with a buddy, anywhere in the world, to a maximum depth of 60ft/18m.

To complete upgrade to Open Water course you will do one confined water session water in the comfort and safety of our pool or shallow water dive site. Once we finish the shallow water portion, you will be ready for the open water. The water here is clear, calm, shallow, and perfect for your first open water experience. The dives will usually be conducted on the beautiful Caribbean reefs offshore from Playa del Carmen, or Tulum allowing you to see the marine life in the Mexican Caribbean.

After you are done with Open Water, you should participate in the Advanced Open Water Diver Course to have even more fun underwater. You will learn how to become a more independent diver through understanding the necessary skills to dive safely.
