Dactylicapnos scandens syn Dicentra Scandens
Previously sitting in the genus Dicentra, Dactylicapnos scandens is a climbing,yellow flowered perennial from the Himalayas.
It is a thin stemmed plant that climbs or scrambles over low growing plants. The leaves are light green and very thin not quite translucent.
Flowering in late autumn the lemon yellow flower clusters hang delicately from the thin stems. Typically the flowers are somewhat heart shaped or locket shaped.
It does down in winter and reappears in mid to late spring.
