Eighty-sevens abound in the public eye lately. In February it was Liz McIntyre's silver medal in the winter Olympics, and now Andrew Bilgore has been spotted on prime-time television! Andrew played the part of a mathematician on a winter episode of L.A. Law.

Speaking of Los Angeles, I received a letter from Zinka Benton, a recent convert to the "weather and outdoor stuff' in California after living in New York. I can't blame you, Zinka! Upon her writing she had returned from ten days in Berlin, where a film she produced appeared in a festival. Entitled OneNation Under God, her film is the result of three years of work and will air in June on the PBS series P.O.V. Not satisfied with this accomplishment, Zinka is presently toiling away on another script she hopes to produce.

Halfway between the aforementioned L.A. and New York we find Tom Fyda, who was a fellow resident out of U. of lowa with Christine Foley Kollmorgen. Chris reported that Tom is now an orthopedic surgery resident and is planning to be married in lowa City this summer. Should be a Phi kind of affairCongrats to Tom and his fiancee!
