Hi all, this is my first post in this forum, i want to show my last model of my favourite tank, an afghan T55 abandoned somewhere in afghanistan, Tamiya kit with some improvements, painted with humbrol enamels and wheathering with AK enamels and oils, a bit of pigments and a lot of dry-brush to simulate the rusty armor

hope you like it Very Happy

    Bye

A beautiful piece of painting and weathering work.

I would be interested in more info on the drybrush approach you used to get the rusty areas...did you stipple the drybrush?

Thanks again to everyone, I'm glad you like it

@Marc The drybrush was applied in the classic way without stipple with a mix of Brown bess 170 and a bit of leather 62 Humbrol over larger areas that were previously airbrushed with Humbrol brown bess 170. Unfortunately I have no photos of these steps I'm sorry

    My dear friend!

Great to se eone of your new works again. This is maybe one of your best works, very ultra realistic, great effects, and perfect dust!
What I miss is different shades of greens for the different components, like the Mantlet, some hatches...

It can bring up life to your model.

But in general is a great paintwork
