Genicanthus caudovittatus
My pair of Genicanthus caudovittatus in hypo
very rare in my country and am lucky to find them. but the female seems to be turning male...? normally female caudovittatus will exhibit a black band through it's eye. you can see here that the band is completely absent and has been reduced to a spot on it's forehead.. one thing i don't understand about genicanthus is that sometimes even in a "pair", males can revert to female and females can change to male. why? i don't know... could it be they are not a true pair and not interacting? not enough female? dunno.
