Common Name or Meaning Wailes Warczewiczella [English Orchid Enthusiast 1800's]

Flower Size 2 1/2" [6.25 cm]

Found in Brazil as a small to just medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ligulate-lanceolate, acute leaves that are canoe-shaped and articulate to the leaf sheaths below and held in a fan that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary, 5" [12.5 cm] long, erect scape with a single, heavily textured, fragrant flower.
