Common Name or Meaning The Beaked Cleisostoma - In China Juan Hui Ge Ju Lan

Found in Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan and Yunnan provinces of China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam in shady places and rocky cliffs in primary and secondary, evergreen, broadleafed coniferous and deciduous forests at elevations of 300 to 650 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphtye or lithophyte with a suberect, sometimes branching stem carrying many, narrowly lanceolate, coriaceous, shortly caudate apically leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, from the upper nodes of the stem, pendant, loosely many flowered that blooms in the summer on an axillary, pendant, from the upper nodes of the stem, 9" [22.5 cm] long, many [35 to 45] flowered infloresence.
