Description:

Orchid, small tuber, 3 leaves. Flower stems 45 cm high, flowers 10-12 to 2.5 cm wide, do not expand, bloom in the fall when the leaves begin to fall. 

Distribution: 

Found in Assam India, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and China and Vietnam. In VietNam, found in Phong Tho, Son La, along Hoang Lien Son mountain.

Ecological: 

Grassy slopes or thickets; at elevations of 1200-2300 m
