Partial shade, intermediary to hot temperature, flower in fall
Found in Costa Rica and Panama in premontagne rainforests as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte occuring at elevations of 600 to 1500 meters with 3.2" [8 cm ] between each, cylindric to slightly tapered pseudobulbs subtended by 1 to 2 foliate sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous to fleshy, sessile, elliptic, unequally bilobed apically, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaf that blooms in the fall in situ.
