Botanical Description

Pseudobulbs lopsidedly conical with a distinct neck, 3-4.5cm long, sometimes more, green. Leaves solitary, lanceolate. Flowering stems 8-12cm long. Flowers solitary, 10cm or more across, white, perhaps sometimes pink, the lip with five irregularly toothed or lacerate lamellae, spring. South-western China, in montane forest on mossy rocks. Not in cultivation. Has been confused with P. albiflora.
