Botanical Description

Shrublet to about 45cm tall. Leaves lanceolate to narrowly oblong, 3-8cm long, tomentose, especially dense and white beneath. Flowers up to 2.7cm long, yellow, in solitary whorls of fourteen to thirty, early to late summer. Crete, Turkey and Greece, in scrub and pine-cypress forest over limestone.
