Images from my last big Colorado hike before our move to Washington, along the West Branch Trail to Island Lake, Rawah Wilderness, Roosevelt National Forest, CO. The 14 mile out-and-back hike was possibly the best hike I've done to date for wildflower viewing. I've identified some, to the best of my abilities, with the guide of Rocky Mountain Flora: Second Edition by James Ells, Ph.D and Wildflowers of Colorado: Field Guide by Don Mammoser with Stan Tekiela.
